According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), pets — including cats and dogs — have been infected with the virus that causes COVID-19.

When a cat or dog gets COVID symptoms, they get pretty much the same symptoms as humans.

Try to get your pet to wear a mask and try to prevent from getting in contact.

Wear gloves when you interact with your pet or its food, dishes, waste or bedding.

No Dog has been reported yet to die from covid.

The risk of animals spreading the COVID-19 virus to owners is considered very low.

If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19, public health officials recommend you restrict contact with dogs.

Avoid petting, snuggling, being kissed or licked, and sharing food or bedding with your pet.
